More than 2,200 students graduated from Richardson ISD earlier this week.

Seniors from Berkner, Lake Highlands and RHS crossed the stage on Sunday, and Pearce students enjoyed their commencement ceremony Monday night at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland.

The Class of 2019 garnered nearly $40 million in scholarship offers, validating the district’s mission to prepare all students for success beyond high school, which RISD has done for 165 years since being established in 1854.

At Berkner, 566 graduates accumulated nearly $3.4 million in scholarships. The 610 graduates at RHS garnered about $11 million in scholarship offers. Lake Highlands graduated 530 students, who received nearly $13 million in college scholarships. The 502 seniors at Pearce received more than $12.2 million.

At the annual Top Ten Luncheon, some of the most successful RISD students in this graduating class lauded their most influential teachers, sharing anecdotes about what makes the district a place where everyone can connect, grow, learn and succeed.

Congratulations to the RISD Class of 2019!
