For the last several weeks, the Richardson Fire Department has been collecting unwrapped toys and canned/shelf stable food for its annual Toy and Food Drive, benefiting families at the Network of Community Ministries.

Today, firefighters stopped by the Network for a special delivery. Thanks to the support of the community, they were able to collect 146 lbs. of food and many toys, from dolls and teddy bears to action figures and bicycles, to help several families have a wonderful Christmas holiday.
