Dallas Area Rapid Transit is inviting communities along the historic Cotton Belt railroad to learn more about its 26-mile passenger rail project.

Construction on the Silver Line began in September. The line will span from Shiloh Road in Plano to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport when it opens at the end of 2022.

The community meetings will provide updates on construction, the project's timeline, betterment programs, station art and design programs, and the Silver Line vehicles, according to the transit agency.

The first of the community meetings will kick off at the Sound in Cypress Waters. Find the full list of meetings below:
