President’s Club profile: Covenant Realty

Richardson native Valerie Kirkpatrick has come home and moved her business with her.
Valerie is the president, managing broker and owner of Covenant Realty Corporation, and a member of the President’s Circle of the Richardson Chamber.

“I graduated from Richardson High School,” said Valerie. “When I moved back to Richardson two and a half years ago, I felt like I had just come home.” Her 21-year-old real estate business is now located in the Palisades II Building.
The company has eight agents, three of whom are brokers. All take a hands-on, faith-based approach to helping clients find their homes. She describes her business as a boutique real estate firm that can give its clients personal support.
“We handle it all. We hire professionals to do our marketing and we still put our hands on everything.” Valerie said. “We don’t relegate sensitive client information to un-licensed assistants who are not properly equipped. Technology advances in the industry means she can compete with the large, corporate realty companies on a worldwide level. “Through IDX technology, with over 100 real estate sites, our properties are auto populated all over the globe.”
“I support the chamber because they’ve done a wonderful job for the city,” said Valerie. “I joined the President’s Circle because I give where I can and I believe in what they do for Richardson. I particularly enjoy attending the Executive After Hours (happy hour) which serves to broaden my understanding of local, state and federal government and economic impact.”
