From marketing communications to Leadership Richardson, Susan Kassen, vice chairman for membership services for the Richardson Chamber, stays involved with Richardson, her home for 16 years.
A realtor with Ebby Halliday, Susan grew up in Plano and attended Texas Tech University to pursue a degree in advertising and marketing. Upon graduation, she worked for an advertising agency in Dallas and then later went to work for Nortel in the marketing communications organization. She received her MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Susan lives in Richardson with her husband, David, and two boys, Cole (18) and Kyle (16), who keep her very busy outside of work. She is also actively involved in her church, St. Paul the Apostle and the Canyon Creek HOA Board. She has held many volunteer positions throughout the years, from PTA president to the Leadership Richardson Alumni Association.
Of the many volunteer positions, the one most dear to her heart was when she was privileged enough to serve as a ROC (an advisory role) on the Leadership Richardson Curriculum Committee. She loves the Richardson community and is committed to making it a great place to live, work and play.
