Here are the latest coronavirus updates from Collin County. (Community Impact staff)

An additional 28 positive cases of coronavirus were reported by Collin County health officials May 21.

There have been 1,118 total confirmed cases in the county, 754 of whom have recovered.

The current number of active cases is 333, according to the report. Of the active cases, 16 are hospitalized, and 317 remain in home isolation.

The cities of Plano and McKinney have the two highest numbers of cases in Collin County, with 342 in Plano and 228 in McKinney. Richardson residents account for 20 cases.

Of the 20 Collin County cases in Richardson, 16 have recovered and four remain active.

There have been 14,945 negative COVID-19 tests in Collin County, and there are 1,910 people being monitored for the virus as of May 21.

There have been 31 deaths of a person who tested positive for the virus in Collin County, with none in Richardson.
