Collin College is offering free, voluntary COVID-19 booster shots at multiple campuses this spring, according to a Jan. 10 news release.Vaccination clinics are open to students, employees and the general public. The sites are in partnership with Albertsons and Tom Thumb pharmacies.

Both Pfizer and Moderna booster vaccines are available, according to the release. Individuals who have received Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are eligible for a booster shot six months or more after their initial series. People who have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine are eligible for a booster shot two months or more after their initial vaccination.

Those interested in receiving a booster shot should visit www.collin.edu/covid19/vaccinationsignup.html to sign up for an appointment and complete consent forms. Along with the consent forms, a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention vaccination card and government-issued ID is required. Foreign passports are accepted as a form of identification.

Booster vaccination clinics will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the following dates:

    • Jan. 21 at Frisco Campus Conference Center, 9700 Wade Blvd., Frisco

 

    • Feb. 9 at Plano Campus Living Legends Conference Center, 2800 Spring Creek Parkway, Plano

 

    • March 18 at McKinney Campus Conference Center, 2400 Community Ave., McKinney
